Regathering FAQs

We can’t wait to see you!

As we prepare to regather, things will look a little different than they did when we last met at Kahala Elementary nearly one year ago. For starters, we have a new permanent location! We're looking forward to sharing it with you.

Secondly, we’re still in the middle of a global pandemic. While we continue to pray and ask God for protection and healing from the COVID virus, we’re also being proactive to provide a clean and safe environment for you and your family.

Our online services will continue for those who prefer to watch from home. For those of you who are planning to join us in-person, here are some of the things we’re doing to keep you safe.

Please be assured that our team is working hard to make our campus clean and safe for your visit. With new information and guidelines frequently evolving, we are staying up to date regarding the current requirements and making adjustments as necessary.
WHAT WE'RE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE:
  • We are taking every precaution as prescribed by the CDC to ensure that our campus is clean and safe for you and your family.
  • Our staff and volunteers will wear masks and have their temperature checked before serving.
  • Seating in the sanctuary and outdoor areas will be socially distanced.
  • Additional hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the campus.
  • All services will be a touchless experience, and all high-volume areas will be cleaned between services.
  • No offering buckets will be passed. Instead, we will have two secure giving kiosks by the doors of the Worship Center. We highly encourage giving online on our website and app.
  • Giving envelopes will be available upon request at the Welcome Center and at the giving kiosks.
  • All handouts, seat-back materials, papers, and pens will be removed.
  • Download the Grace Honolulu app to access notes, upcoming events and much more!
HOW YOU CAN HELP US:
  • In keeping with our local and CDC guidelines, here are our updated mask guidelines (as of 6/7/21): 1. When in indoor areas like our Worship Center, we're asking people three-years-old and above to wear their face mask; 2) In our outdoor areas, face masks are optional; 3) For the security of all, our Serve Team members will continue to wear their masks in all areas of our campus.
  • We have masks available if you forget to bring one.
  • We will be taking a quick temperature check when you arrive.
  • Please sit in your reserved seats with your family.
  • Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet between yourself and other guests as you move around the campus.
  • At the end of service, we ask that you not linger on campus to give our team time to clean and reset the areas before the next service begins.
  • If you have pre-existing conditions, low immunity or compromised health, we ask you to enjoy our service online. We value your safety above all else.
  • Also, if you have any of the following symptoms during the two weeks before service, please worship with us online: fever over 100 degrees, cough or sore throat, shortness of breath, any flu-like symptoms, have had contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

frequently asked questions

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I ARRIVE?
As you enter our campus, you’ll notice that all of our staff and serve team members are wearing face coverings. For your safety and theirs, we ask everyone to wear a face mask.

Once you enter the campus, proceed to the check-in area. When you made your reservation, you received a bar code. Please have your bar code ready and our team will check you in.

After you have checked in, you are invited to head to the sanctuary to find your seat, which we have sanitized for your safety. Once there, you’ll notice that your household is seated in a way that maintains social distancing.

WILL THERE BE GRACE KIDZ?
Grace Kidz is available at the 9:00AM Service.  You’re also still welcome to bring your kids and have them sit with you during service. You’re encouraged to bring headphones and a device so they can watch Grace Kidz online during the service. We’ll also have some pre-packaged activities and snacks for your children to enjoy. Visit the Grace Kidz Regathering page for more information.

WILL THERE BE COFFEE?
To ensure your safety, we will not be serving any beverages for the foreseeable future. You're invited to bring your beverages in a spill-proof container if you desire.

HOW COME WE CAN'T HANG OUT AFTER SERVICE?
While we would love to stay and talk, we need you to exit quickly to create space in the parking lot for the following service. This will also give our team time to make sure everything is sanitized and reset for the next service.

WHAT IF I FORGOT TO MAKE A RESERVATION AHEAD OF TIME?
If you’re unable to make a reservation ahead of time, head to our “walk-in registration” area once you arrive on campus. We will have a limited number of seats available for walk-ins and first-time guests who didn’t know to make a reservation.

CAN I GIVE ON SUNDAY MORNING?
While we encourage you to give online through our website or app, we will have ushers available at the end of the service to receive offerings if you desire to give via cash or check.

WILL RESTROOMS BE AVAILABLE?
Yes, our restrooms will be available. They will be cleaned frequently by our team. We ask that you do your part in maintaining social distancing should there be a line to enter, use seat covers, and wash your hands thoroughly.

WILL ONLINE SERVICES STILL BE AVAILABLE?
Our online services will still be available through our website, app, Facebook and YouTube on Sundays at 7:30am, 9am, & 10:45am. We are committed to continuing the same level of excellence that you’ve been experiencing during the past several months for those who feel more comfortable watching from home.
